I am currently a full-time student studying for a degree in B.Sc (Hons) Computer Science at Northumbria University in Newcastle upon Tyne. At present I am in my third year on placement as a Junior Software Engineer at Metrology Software Products in Alnwick, Northumberland. I have experience with C/C++, Java and Perl from both working in an academic and working environment. I also have the ability to quickly learn new languages and extend my existing understanding in the complexities of others. As well as programming I am also a keen web developer and have an extensive knowledge of the latest HTML, CSS and both client-side (JavaScript, VBScript) and server-side (PHP) technologies and scripting languages to make professional, effective and easily maintainable websites.
